Cause

The motto of Rotary International is “Service Above Self” and that service is delivered by your local Rotary Club. Our efforts to support the well being of our local community and surrounding areas depends on fun events we use to raise funds.

Unfortunately, the pandemic has curtailed gatherings at these events but the community needs are still there.

In order to raise funds to support the local community we are giving someone the chance to win half the money raised in our first 50/50 Raffle fundraiser.

Organizations that will be supported in the community will be:

• BC SPCA
• New Life Church
• Castlegar Hospice Society

And what you will get if you are the winner is some money to spend this Summer on your favourite activity. What will you spend your winnings on? New golf clubs, a new tent, new mountain bike, fishing rod, kayak? What a great way to start the outdoor season with some extra cash in your pocket.

We are excited to see how the community and surrounding areas respond to our fundraiser.

50/50 Draw: Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.

7-Ticket Pack for $50.

   No. Ticket numbers are computer-generated in ascending order starting at a pre-determined number.

5. What are the odds of winning?
   Chances are 1 in 4,000 (total tickets for sale) to win a prize. Actual odds depend on number of tickets sold.
